I had an ACL reconstruction a couple of years back and took up Fixie riding after that. All was fine for a while until i decided to have toe straps. Then my weaker knee couldnt handle the force, it tore my cartiledge and fractured the top of my tibia (but luckily my ACL graft is ok)

I have no doubt that it was the combo of Fixed and Toestraps that isnt great for your knees. I’m definately going to have to go back to freewheel now which is a bit gutting because I loved riding fixed.

Fig bars, granola bars, peanut butter on crackers, Red Vines, gummi worms, bagels, baked potatoes. My fav is undoubtedly the latter. I split ‘em, add salt and pepper, wrap in oil and stuff in my pocket. While on the bike I unwrap in my pocket and eat like apples. Mm! I tend to avoid anything excessively sticky and/or prone to melting, as I live in a hot climate. So most of the time unless they’re on sale/it’s cold, I avoid anything with chocolate.

I wish I’d read this earlier, had my bike stripped too and can’t claim – I wish I’d only had one lock on it now then they would have had the whole thing. Will look into contents insurance for my Bike

By the way, are you even a real person?
