Anyone who owns one knows how difficult it can be to get the pump hose head off a threaded presta valve once you’ve inflated the tube. It’s hard enough to get it on, but sometimes it really does get tightly stuck on the valve, requiring real brute force for removal. Brute force and fragile valves do not mix.
