August 14, 2008I just watched The Flying Scotsman. It made me laugh, because, in one scene which was supposed to be in 1993, ‘Graeme’ (Johnny Lee Miller) was racing a van, and guess what ‘Graeme’ was riding? My old bike*. Yes, that’s right, a 2004/5 Dawes Watoga. So not only was Graeme some sort of genius, but he could also travel into the future and bring back bikes that wouldn’t have been made for 11 years. Woah!
*Not my actual old bike but the exact same model.
If his mech hanger broke though, he’d be fucked.
he also wears a current Halfords issue, dayglo yellow waterproof….I know I have one.
