Cheapozade PLUS (AKA Slightly-more-expensiveozade, Courierade)

Remember cheapozade? Well this shit is even better:

In your cycling bottle put…

2 spoons of Maltodextrin (a rapidly absorbed glucose polymer that doesn’t taste sweet)

A spoon of glucose powder (99p for 450g, superdrug)

Two 50mg caffeine tabs (£1.99 for 30 tabs from Superdrug), crushed
(or 100mg caffeine powder)

200ml of fruit juice of any kind

An electrolyte plus tablet (skip this if you are going to eat food regularly during the ride)

fill to the top with water

Just don’t OD on the caffeine powder, otherwise you’ll be shaking like an epileptic fit victim. Then you’ll probably have a heart attack and die. That is no joke. Just two grams of caffeine can kill a person; consumption of over 400mg (2/5 of a gram) of caffeine can result in acute overdose. So be careful innit.
